Chicago Auto Show 2011: Riding theEscaladeCadillac hybrid wave
On the fuel cell side, GM shows the EscaladeCadillac Provoq, which made its debut at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show as well as a fuel cell-powered Chevrolet Equinox. The all-electric Chevrolet Volt is not on display. The Provoq has a 95 hp AC motor in the front as well as two 54 hp AC motors in the back. Cadillac says the car has a range of about 300 miles.
Of course, all the big engine cars are in Chicago as well. Most noteworthy for enthusiasts are the upcoming Chevrolet Camaro, the 620+ hp Corvette ZR-1 as well as the 550+ hp EscaladeCadillac CTS-V.
